These Terms & Conditions govern use of Leelanau County Busted Mugshots. By accessing this private reference site, a visitor accepts these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should not use the site. These terms apply to the site’s explanations and links, not to official Leelanau County, Michigan, federal, or independent services reached through an outbound link.

Leelanau County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with a government agency, the Sheriff, the jail, or any corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a consumer-reporting service. The site is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency, and FCRA-regulated uses are prohibited.

Private Reference Service

This site offers reference material about paths to Leelanau County booking, custody, court, Michigan Department of Corrections, federal, and immigration resources. It has no government connection and stores no official roster, booking photo, court file, or custody database. It cannot confirm current custody, release anyone, or submit a document to an official office.

Links can help a visitor locate public offices or independent tools, but a source link is not an official record itself. The originating sheriff, correctional agency, court, or other custodian controls its own records and any disclosure decision.
